Worst disaster of our time
My heart goes out to the victims of the Tsunami. This has been the most terrible tragedy to befall humanity in hundreds of years.
If you want to help out, please take a look at these links. Today's coffee money could be drinking water for those in need.

Purgatory
I'm in Purgatory.
Or at least the closest thing to it. We arrived at the Denver airport at 8:30 AM for our 11 AM flight. The lines were so bad we didn't get to check-in until at least an hour after our flight had departed. Now we are in eternal standy. We have been here all day but we have moved even further down the standby list. Yelling at customer service does no good.
I hate United.
Stranded at the airport, I'm forced to pay inflated prices for crappy food.
"Perhaps tomorrow we may get a flight".
Too bad every flight is overbooked/oversold. I have no idea where our bags have gone. The rigid, uncomfortable chairs make it impossible to sleep.
Purgatory.
Note:
Eventually a kind man who happened to be Ethiopian took pity on us when Jolene told him she was part Ethiopian and had relatives flying in from there. Somehow he was able to free up 2 seats on a full flight for us.
We finally left Denver at around 10 PM, nearly 14 hours after we arrived.

Happy Birthday
Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy, it is the wine of a new procreation, and I am Bacchus who presses out this glorious wine for men and makes them drunk with the spirit.
-- Ludwig van Beethoven
Happy Birthday Beethoven.
