Misfit Toys

Last night I downloaded some new VST plugins and I came across an amazing little synth that almost perfectly replicated the classic 8bit sound of the old school Nintendo. Not SNES, the original.

It'll be interesting to see if I can incorporate some of these sounds subtly into the new songs I'm working on and do in a manner that comes off as more inventive than cheesey.
