Mmm...tubes

I could very well be in love.

I found this pedal randomly tonight, it replicates the sound of a tube amp with a 4x12 cab. A pedal that actually has tubes in it, plus an opto-compressor. I'll have to actually play on one to be sure I'd like it but so far the samples I've heard sound promising.

Usually I have to fangle with replicating tones I came up with in the studio for live performances and they don't always match. It looks like I can DI this for recording and then amp it with hardly any changes.

I'll have to see if I can test one of these out.
